I believe a chat room would be a great addition to TabNabber so tabbers can chat about what tabs they should post, improvements, and much more.

A section of the forums detailing the members surfing the forums would be quite nice.

*.
I believe dragmire should be promoted for his excellent tablature on the Legend of Zelda. They are quite good and I believe he should be reprehended for it.

TabNabber should make an RSS feed for the latest updated tabs and for the newest tabs.

This might not happen for a while but, I think TabNabber should make a mobile version of the site. This will help tabbers look at their phone for their tabs while playing their intstruments, in some rare cases they won't have access to a computer.

I think the next converter should be sheet music to piano tablature.

All of these would be a good improvement, especially the mobile app.

Some good suggestions, although the sheet music to tab convertor might be a hard one. Most copies of sheet music on the web aren't actual digital copies; they are just a photo taken of the sheet music.
Anyways that's what tabbers are for!

Some good suggestions. I really like the RSS feed and mobile version ideas. The 'sheet music to tab' convertor would require some serious AI programming (optical character recognition like logic), not to mention there are 5000 different file formats sheet music can come in. It is not impossible but it would take some serious time and effort.

But I think that I haven't been promoted yet because I don't have enough ratings and I'm not sure if I've been a member long enough yet.

What would make the site the best one, is that the guitar tab to piano tab translator needs to be programmed to translate any guitar tuning, so far it only does standard.
My favorite band is System of a Down, and most of their songs are in drop C tuning. The translator doesn't work for them.

sorry for double post, but i can also try to get a different (better) forum software.
I think a good forum will increase the amount of people going on this site.. not that this isn't a good forum, but it can be better

It might be a good idea to make the tabbing easier. I was trying to write a simple Cascada tab for keyboard, and after telling me fifteen times that there was an error, then it refreshed the page an erased my work. Not to mention, the transposer for the tabs could use some work, to make it simpler while also making it less of a bother.

Couple of tips to stop you loosing your work; i usually paste it in a word document before submitting just in case.
If you use Firefox as your web browser you can install this addon; https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/lazarus-form-recovery/
Once installed if for any reason your tab doesn't submit, just go back to the submit tab page, right click in the form area and go to 'Recover Text'.

@StrawberryGashes - can you give us more details on how we can reproduce the error you received 15 times? If so, then we will fix it tomorrow.

BA: for some reason there is a small lag while playing my new-made tab, it has a small pause after the end of the line ( when going to the next line of tabs )
Is there any way to remove that lag / pause?
also some ideas from me:
-a rimm changer ( if that isn't too hard ) would be very nice to make my Rigby-tab better -more guitar effects ( like P.M. ( Palm Mutes ) P.H. ( Pinch Harmonics ) etc. ) would also be cool to have added.
I mean the P.M.'s in a way like this:
PM|--...---...---.-|--...---...---.-|--...---...---.-|--...---...---.-| e|----------------|----------------|----------------|----------------| b|----------------|----------------|----------------|----------------| g|----------------|----------------|----------------|----------------| d|----------------|----------------|----------------|----------------| a|----------------|----------------|----------------|----------------| d|7-000-6-000-5-0-|4-000-5-000-6-0-|7-000-6-000-5-0-|4-000-5-000-6-0-|
Greetz,
