A problem is that tabs using Steinbald would then look like this
121312312311

But having the note names is less confusing.

Yeah I kinda wanna why there's no octave 1 as well

You wanna make it TRULY universal

Just say above the tablature what number of octaves (notes)
the song is tabulated for.

Ex.
4|---------------|-------------------------|
3|---------e-----|-------------------------|
2|---b--b----A--a|---d-----C-----C--d--C--b|
2|---e--e--------|---g--e--F--e--F--g--F--e|
|---play 3 x--|

or

Ex.

Transcribed for 61 note (5 octave) Kybd
tempo = 120
    E5 E5              G5    F#5    F#5 G F#5 E5
5|------------------|------------------------------|
4|------------------|------------------------------|
3|------------------|------------------------------|
2|---------E--------|------------------------------|
1|---B--B-----A#--A-|---D-----C#-----C#--D--C#--B--|
1|---E--E-----------|---G--E--F#--E--F#--G--F#--E--|

|---play 3 x--|

Lemme ask any average player here this.
Which one of the above makes more sense
Which one could YOU automatically read
right away and say "Hey I know that song!!!" ?

All you need to know is the proper notation
and what number octave it's on and that all
octaves begin with C
