can anyone tell me the notes in the following chord tabs. bb followed by a small circle db followed by a small circle d# followed by a small circle Never came across this before.

If they look like the circles in this (staffs 33, 35)
http://www.8notes.com/school/scores/cello/bach_cello_suite_12.gif
then it indicates an open string (for stringed instruments).

Small circle means a diminished chord. Minor chord with a lowered fifth. So a C diminished would be C-Eb-Gb.
