Software for Sheet Music that Automatically inputs notes in alphabet form? 1968 views

I was wondering if there was such a thing as this out there. I've looked around and have searched google with no luck. For the last 2 months I've been manually writing every individual note underneath the measure in sheet music. Needless to say, it's a pretty time consuming task. But I've found that it's the method of learning that works best for me at the moment.

I haven't been on in awhile, but I figured this was as good a place as any to ask this question. Any replies will be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

Great question. It depends really on what format the sheet music in, but you may have some luck with PDFtoMusic Pro, which has a free trial version so you can test it out:

Disclaimer: We have no affiliation to PDFtoMusic Pro and I've never used the software, so I can't vouch for its accuracy or ability. But this guy does, he says Photoscore (from Avid/Sibelius) and Smartscore X both suck:

The PDFtoMusic software says it can turn PDF sheet music into midi files. Once you have a midi file you can then run it through our Midi to Tab converter to get the individual notes:

If you get a chance to try it, please let us know how well (or poorly) it works!
