Arpeggio:
1) The sounding of the tones of a chord in rapid succession rather than simultaneously.
2) A chord played or sung in this manner.

"Space Dementia" is the mother of all arpeggios. There used to be a site online that had all the sheet music for 3 or 4 Muse albums, but I cannot find it anymore.

Radiohead also uses arpeggios in several of their songs. The live version of "Like Spinning Plates" comes to mind...
