Art Music from Brain Waves



[From the journal PLOS ONE]:

Researchers have taken two different signals from subjects' brain waves and converted the results into music and sheet music notation. Lead researcher Jing Lu says her team wants to investigate whether this type of 'music' -- generated by the brain itself -- is more effective than man-made music for music therapy.

Seems dubious to me, but have a listen to one of the brain songs for yourself. Now all that's left to do is take someone listening to this brain wave music and turn those brain waves into new music.
