Strange Sounds from Earth or Industry? My money is on invisible UFOs hovering above the city. [From Michigan Radio] For years, many residents of Windsor, Ontario have complained of a loud, low pitched vibration that permeates homes and affects quality of lives. The source of the ominous sounds have yet to be identified, though many point to a nearby industrial island as the possible source. Now researchers in Ontario will spend $60,000 and the next few months using infrasound microphones (usually used to track meteors) in order to finally get to the bottom of the noise known as the 'Windsor Hum'.
