Music Deep In Our MemoriesNeuropsychological Rehabilitation recently released a study that showed that music can be used by brain-injured patients to recall personal memories.
Popular songs from the patients' lifespans were played to subjects with and without brain injuries, and in nearly all cases the music brought back positive memories of people or periods of the person's life.
